Caravan Rental Details

I have recently bought this beautiful timber lodge, and have renovated it to the highest standard. It is set amongst some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland.
A brand new luxury shower room has been fitted, and there is a large lounge/dining room with lovely views over the Holy Loch.

There are two bedrooms (one double and one twin), and an inflatable, full-height double bed is available - making the lodge suitable for six people.

The kitchen has been fitted with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric hob and combined microwave/convection oven. All the crockery, cutlery and utensils have been chosen with care, and you will find everything you could possibly need.

There is a huge deck outside, wrapping more than three-quarters of the way round the lodge, allowing you to take in the views and relax. There is a table, with four chairs and a parasol, as well as two large benches.
The lounge has an LCD television with "Freeview", as well as a DVD player and hi-fi. I have also fitted a beautiful Calor Gas "Real Flame" stove for those days and nights when it is chilly. There are also electric wall heaters throughout the lodge.

The cost of the Calor Gas is included in the price of your holiday. Electricity is provided by a pre-payment meter, and there will be a minimum of £20 in the meter when you arrive. If required, further electricity can be paid for using the pre-payment key at any of the "Pay Point" outlets in the area.

All bed linen is provided, and your beds will be made up and ready for your arrival. Towels are not provided, however. I have also provided books, DVDs, CDs, games, a sewing kit, first aid box, hairdryer, iron and ironing board for your convenience.

This is altogether a beautiful lodge, and I am very proud of it. I know you won't be disappointed with the accommodation, the holiday park or the area.

Local attractions and directions

The Hunter's Quay Holiday Village is a beautifully landscaped park, where most of the lodges and caravans are privately owned.

It is a quiet holiday park, but has a social club, restaurant, shop and launderette. There is also a swimming pool, badminton, table tennis, snooker and children's play area available at an additional cost.

The nearby town of Dunoon has a cinema, a good shopping area and many restaurants. It also has a pier, from where you can sail on The Waverley - a beautiful paddle steamer which has been lovingly restored to its former glory and sails to various destinations throughout the summer months.

Facilities near the holiday village include quad biking, rock climbing and abseiling, golf, fishing, pony trekking, kayaking/sailing/wind surfing. It is also a perfect base for hill walking - and for exploring the gorgeous scenery of Scotland.
