We are currently negotiating to replace our current caravan with a brand new 2008 model caravan. If all goes according to plan the new caravan will be sited at the beginning of September. After this date all bookings will be staying in the new caravan. The new caravan has a similar layout specification to our current model, but it does have a second toilet located in the shower room. The new caravan has the same sleeping arrangements as our existing model. For more details please refer to our web site.

The caravan has three bed rooms; one double room and two twin rooms. A fold out double bed is also included in the lounge area. It has a separate lounge, dining and kitchen areas. We also have a separate shower/wash basin and toilet/wash basin.

In the lounge area there is a gas fire while in the three bed rooms and shower room there are electric radiators for those cold nights in early or late season.

The caravan is let fully equipped with an inventory for 8 people, fridge (with ice box), full size oven, grill, hob, microwave oven, kettle and electric toaster. Pillows and Duvets are provided for all the beds. We would recommend that you bring your own bed linen with you but if you prefer it can be hired from Haven Guest Services on the park. Fun works Passes may be required for each person, giving them access to all the activities and events on the park.

For guests booking direct with us as well as the integrated colour Television/Video we also include a Freeview box which will give you access to some of the digital television and radio services available in this area (you can not get Channel 5 on analogue televisions on the park).

Our caravan is 12 feet wide and 35 feet long making it one of the largest caravans on the park. This means that regardless of how many guests you have in the caravan you all get plenty of room. Havens Standard (3 star) and Superior (4 star) caravans are all only 10 feet wide - making them quite cramped when fully occupied.

The caravan is connected to mains gas so you do not have to worry about the gas cylinders running out in the middle of the night, gas is included in all bookings. Free mains electricity is also included in all bookings meaning there are no extra charges for metered electricity like on some parks.

Our caravan is located just a short distance from the main entertainment complex and is an easy walk away. The park is built on a hill but we are at the same level as the entertainment complex so you do not have to walk up a hill to get to the entertainment venues, main bars or swimming pools.

For the comfort of other guests staying in our caravan we request that guests do not smoke in the caravan and we do not accept pets.

Local attractions and directions

Haven Holidays have invested a huge £5 million into the park over recent years making this a Superior quality Park in the South East of England. At this great value all-day entertainment centre there is always more to do.

Over the close season 2007 - 8 the main entertainment complex is being totally redeveloped at a cost of £2.3 million.

As part of this redevelopment the Oasis and Broadwalk bars will be replaced with an all day ‘Mash and Barrel’ cafe bar. The atmosphere in the Mash and Barrel changes throughout the day with clever use of lighting and music, encouraging guests to use it for breakfast, lunch and an evening venue with food, entertainment and quality pub games such as darts and pool. Outside there will be a large area with seating over looking the out door swimming pool.

There are so many reasons to visit our park. Combe Haven is just 1 hour away from the M25 making it one of the most accessible Holiday Parks in the UK, great for short breaks and longer holidays. Combe Haven has recently been awarded Gold status by the David Bellamy awards, as areas around the Park have now been landscaped.

New for 2008 on all Haven Parks, Kids Alive is Haven's integrated programme to encourage children to get more exercise, eat a more balanced diet and enjoy a healthier lifestyle. This fun programme provides a complimentary 'active lifestyle passport' stamped for every healthy activity and every healthy eating option kids choose.

All the family can start the day with a new 'Wake & Shake' session. Other activities in the programme follow the British Health Council recommendations for teaching basic swimming and sports skills. Certificates are awarded for the number of healthy activities or eating options taken and marked in your passport.
