attractions and directions

Set in heritage Dorset Coast with commanding views across the sea to the Needles. This beautiful part of Britain has many places to visit.

At Salisbury the Cathedral spire soars heavenwards and the cliffs of Duriston Head rise dramatically above the sea. Nearby there is also the Royal forest, the hills of Purbeck and Chilmark stone quarry. Towns and villages made prosperous by wool.

The ancient Ports of Swanage and Poole contrast sharply with Bournemouth offering miles of sandy beaches, 2000 acres of parks and gardens and two piers while Christchurch, this largely Edwardian town still retains its Saxon street plan with an ancient priory founded in 1094 has a blend of styles from Saxon to Renaissance.
