We, Terry,Anne & our son Andrew, welcome you to Lightwater Tarns Country Park- our new small exclusive development where you can own a lodge or luxury caravan in a setting offering "absolute tranquillity" and seclusion,with no camping or touring,so you are always amongst the same friends and neighbours. We have 2 fishing lakes for exclusive use of our holiday home owners - all set within our family run working beef/sheep farm. Each of the 20 pitches has been designed to accommodate the new era of 16/20ft wide lodges/caravans - 12 have watersedge frontage,but all have fantastic views of the lake. Personalised decking can be fitted by our own professional joiner. Concrete bases for all pitches, piped bulk gas, freeview cable t.v., electricity and mains water. In unspoilt countryside with the breathtaking backdrop of the Whinfell and Howgill fells, you can enjoy nature on your doorstep, either watching the wildlife and their young swimming on the lakes, the fish jumping in the water, or walking on the many footpaths and surrounding country lanes. Imagine owning your own piece of paradise in our beautiful part of the Lake District, with peace and tranquillity as a bonus.

Exit M6 Motorway at junction 39. At A6 turn left for Kendal. When you see Kendal Caravans on your right (approx 4 miles) ,continue south towards Kendal for approx two and a half miles. Turn left at Watchgate Water Treatment works/Patton Bridge sign. Continue for approx half mile and go past Poppy Farm caravan site for 500 yards to crossroads, turn left at crossroads and we are 100 yards on the left.
