Caravan Park Details

Llwyn yr Helm is a small family run Camping and Caravan Park on a working farm which is situated 4 miles from the town of Dolgellau ? a grey stoned market town which has interesting shops, useful amenities and a historical collection of architectural styles.

Situated on the undulating hills is the small village of Brithdir. Llwyn yr Helm commands wonderful views over the majestic mountain of Cader Idris and down towards the estuary that flows into the Barmouth Bay, which is only a short drive away where you will find golden beaches.
Follow the coastline and you will discover the many castles of the area and experience Wales in time gone by.

The enveloping scenery just begs to be explored, walkers and hikers will find themselves in a heaven of exciting challenges or you may prefer to sit and take in the relaxing atmosphere and views.

If biking is more your thing then you will thoroughly enjoy the many routes that allow you to explore the countryside, if you need something more strenuous with a ?buzz? then you may choose to visit Coed y Brenin or Corris Mountain Bike Centres, where you will find many challenging routes.

If your appetite is still not quenched then try White Water Rafting at Bala , the meandering rivers and expansive lakes provide well for water sports and fishing.

Llwyn yr Helm is the ideal base from which to discover The Snowdonia National Park and Mid Wales. With stunning scenery and a warm friendly welcome you would be hard pressed to find a more suitable and pleasant location.

The Park is in three landscaped sections in a sheltered position, some pitches are on hard standing others are grass with electricity to most pitches.

There are two toilet blocks with toilets, showers and hot water, washing up sinks and a laundry.

The Park also has a separate static Caravan Park with 42 owner occupied caravans.
