SANDYBROOK COUNTRY PARK, ASHBOURNE

The Park

Situated just 1 mile outside Ashbourne, the gateway to the southern dales, Sandybrook Country Park is set in the former grounds of Sandybrook Hall, an elegant 19th century manor house. With delightful, open views across the surrounding countryside, the Park has a loevely woodland walk and a stunning pinetum of mature specimen trees. Sandybrook is the ideal location for exploring the Peak District and visiting the Potteries.

Games rooms and an outdoor play area are provided to entertain the children and a heated indoor swimming pool is available for all the family.

The lovingly restored Coach House Restaurant and Bar provides delicious meals in an imaginative historic setting.

Many other activities are available locally including cycle hire, golf, fishing, horse riding and sailing.

Pinelodge Accommodation

Luxury Pinelodges with one, two, three or four bedrooms, beautifully furnished. Your fully insulated lodge is cosy in winter and cool in the heat of summer. Please refer to our website for full details of prices and to check availability. Each lodge has a verandah with garden furniture and is fully equipped with:

* Colour TV with video and satellite channels
* Open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen including microwave
* Bed linen, duvets and towels provided.

The Tissington lodge sleeps two people in double en-suite bedroom. The double bedroom Elvaston also benefits from a spa bath and sauna.

The Riber lodges sleep up to four people in two bedrooms, one double and one twin, ideal for families or couples sharing. Shower room. Some Riber lodges are kept pet free.

The Peveril offers spacious three-bedroom accommodation. One double (with en-suite facilities) and two twin. Bathroom and en-suite shower room. The Hartington has an additional double bedroom to cater for 8. DVD, CD player, washing machine. Friday, Saturday or Monday start days are available.


Short Breaks

As well as week long holidays, short breaks are available priced at 70% of the full weekly price (either 3 night weekend breaks Friday to Monday or 4 night midweek breaks Monday to Friday).

The park is open over Christmas and New Year.
