Caravan Park Details

Golden Square Caravan & Camping Park is a family-owned park with high standards of service and facilities. The park nestles among the Hambleton Hills, in a warm and sheltered site, just 2 miles from the market town of Helmsley.

The park is laid out on three different levels, screened by trees, with a panoramic view towards the North York Moors. In the David Bellamy Conservation Awards, the park won a gold award. There are indoor and outdoor play areas, and the park is particularly recommended for family holidays. Indoor sports cebre at Ampleforth College, facilities include swimming, squash, badminton, tennis and a gym. Walks from the park and accompanied mountain bike rides arranged on request. Dogs are welcome and there is a dog-exercise field.

There are a number of ?De-Luxe? All-service Pitches. The sites are provided with electricity, fresh water, connections for waste water and chemical waste, TV, hard standing and a grass patio with picnic tables. Seasonal pitches and a storage compound are available.

There are two luxury, heated Toilet & Shower Blocks, new refurbished Toilet Block for 20006 with underfloor heating (free showers) also family/disabled bathroom with underfloor heating. Six-times regional winner of ?Loo of the Year? ? the full range of facilities are open 24 hours a day. The Golden Square shop stocks a delicious range of fresh and frozen foods, drinks and accessories.

Golden Square is an ideal location from which to explore the moors, dales and coast of Yorkshire and the city of York.
