Caravan Park Details
Trethias Farm Caravan Park has been family owned and run since the 1950?s, and little has changed since its beginning, other than the installation of the type of facilities that you would expect today. Trethias is ideal for families and couples, seeking a classic camping holiday, and looking to avoid the usual cramped over developed parks. Set in the beautiful surroundings of the North Cornwall coastline, Trethias enjoys some uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside, Trevose Head, Bodmin Moor and sometimes even St. Ives Bay on an exceptional day. All of our touring pitches are positioned around the edge of the fields, leaving the middle open for games & cycling. Award winning conservation park, with wildlife havens and bird protection areas surrounding the camping fields. The site itself is only yards from the South West coast path, with Padstow a days walk to the North, and the outstanding Bedruthan Steps to the south. Accessed by a small private road, Trethias is just a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach, Treyarnon Bay, which is a dog friendly beach even during summer, and also lifeguard patrolled. Within the park, we provide a special dog walking field with fantastic sea views, although they must be on a lead within the park itself. Trethias has no on-site entertainment or clubs, uses minimal lighting at night, and does not accept bookings of large groups in high season, all of which adds up to a natural, friendly feel around the park. Peak season booking essential
Padstow attractions and directions
If travelling on the A30, take the turning off at Highgate Hill, then follow signs for Wadebridge until Winnards Perch roundabout. If travelling on A39, head towards Padstow until reaching the same roundabout. From here, follow signs to St. Merryn. After St. Merryn Holiday Village, take the turning left at the post box signed Treyarnon Bay. At the next junction - caravans should turn left (Porthcothan Bay), cars / vehicles can turn right (St. Merryn). Caravans continue on until reaching the Tredrea Inn, and turn right here. Pass another caravan park on your right (Carnevas), and continue up and over to the bottom of the hill, and take the turning left marked private road opposite the post box by farm on corner. Cars and other vehicles should follow the road (B3276) until you see the brown 'Trethias' signs, and follow their directions ( 2 left turns). All visitors required to check in at farmhouse when arriving - caravans may go to site first due to turning restrictions and access.
