Caravan Park Details
Our family run park is managed by Richard & Janet Burfitt and their son James. We are situated on the picturesque south bank of the River Thames in the pretty village of Hurley. The Park covers 33 hectares and is surrounded by farmland with the Thames Path running along our 1km of riverbank
Hurley Riverside park is ideally located for visiting Legoland in Windsor-only 20 minutes away. Nearby is Henley-on-Thames, while London and Oxford are within easy reach for day visits. We are at the heart of an extensive network of countryside footpaths extending along the Thames and upwards into Ashley Hill forest
The village of Hurley pre-dates the Norman Conquest and remains of the Benedictine Monastery can still be seen, while the church is still in use. There is a post office and a village shop. It also has several pubs and restaurants within walking distance, including the 12th Century Ye Olde Bell.
We are the proud holders of the David Bellamy 5 Year Gold Award for Conservation in the environment and in 2000 we were pleased to welcome David to the park to name our first Park bred Llama, Apollo.
