Caravan Park Details

Welcome to our friendly touring park and course fisheries. Vale of York is a haven for peace and relaxation whilst offering an ideal base for visiting York, the North Yorkshire Moors, Castle Howard and the various other attractions throughout the area. We have three fantastic fishing ponds on site, available for day ticket and competition fishing. The site is a small family run business where you are assured of the highest standards of care and attention at all times.

York attractions and directions

York is a city that provides a wealth of attractions - from the glorious Minster to the terrifying York Dungeons. Whatever your age, there will be something to entertain you . From the Viking Settlement in the Jorvick Centre and the medieval Shambles to the Castle Museums Victorian streets you can step back and immerse yourself in history. There are restaurants and wine bars throughout the city as well as pubs and cafes. Whether you want a night at the theatre or a ghost walk, there is something to suit every taste and budget!



Our site is situated a few miles outside York centre and is ideally situated for site-seeing holidays.
Heading North on the A1237, York Outer Ring Road, take the Strensall turning. Heading through the village follow the road past the Half Moon pub and turn left by The Ship Inn, following the sign for Sherrif Hutton. You will find us Approximately 1/2 mile along on the right-hand side of the road.



From the A64 Scarborough road take the turning marked Strensall and Haxby.At the Junction turn right, then left into the village of Strensall.
