Caravan Park Details
Nestling on the protected South West shoreline of Luce Bay, Maryport Caravan Site is the ideal location for a relaxing carefree holiday.
Surrounded by spectacular scenery with views over the Solway Coast, Isle of Man and the rugged Mull of Galloway peninsula.
Direct access to an expansive sandy beach suitable for children, and a variety of watersports. Beautiful walks over unspoiled countryside.
We have 12 touring pitches for tents, caravans and motor caravans. The site is undeveloped in nature with plenty of green grass.
A variety of shops and bars are found in the village of Drummore around 1 mile from the site.
Stranraer attractions and directions
The local villages of Portlogan and Portpatrick are only a few miles away and within easy reach by car. Portlogan was the set for the BBC Drama 2000 Acres of Skye. The world renowned Gardens of Logan are open to the public. Portpatrick is a very picturesque harbour village with a variety of restaurants and quaint shops. You can play golf, tennis and bowls or arrange a boat trip.
Sailing and boating are extremely popular in the bay.The beach is gently shelving.
The Mull of Galloway lighthouse is only 2 miles away. This is the most southerly point in Scotland and has great views of the Isle of Man and Ireland. There is a R.S.P.B. display there where you can learn more about the variety of birds that inhabit the imposing cliff face.
Stranraer is around 18 miles from Drummore and the main ferry port to Ireland. Day trips to Belfast and the Antrim Coast can be arranged at the ferry terminal. Stranraer has a leisure centre with a pool, sauna and gym.
Follow the A716 from Stranraer to Drummore. In Drummore turn right up Mill Street (steep hill) turn left at the top and continue straight on for 1 mile (signposted).

Please note that parking on site is for customers only.There is a strict No Parking policy for all other vehicles.
