No busy roads or traffic nearby, just the gentle bleating of sheep in the surrounding fields, penetrates the tranquillity of this ideal retreat.

Morpeth attractions and directions

Travel north from Newcastle upon Tyne on the A1 past Morpeth.

Take the Rothbury turn off and travel on the B6341. Travel through: Rothbury and Thropton. At Flotterton turn sharp right at the farm with a signpost detailing Sharperton, Harbottle and Alwinton.

After passing through Sharperton and Harbottle, Clennell hall Riverside Holiday Park is located immediately right after crossing the bridge before entering the village of Alwinton.
