Caravan Park Details

Linton Lock in the village of Linton-on-Ouse is located about 7 miles north west of York in the county of North Yorkshire.

Our geographical location means that we are quite centrally placed in the UK.

York attractions and directions

It is quite easy to get here from almost anywhere because of the fact that we are very close to the A1.



It takes about 4-5 hours to get to both London and Edinburgh by car.



From A19 North of York after approximately 3 miles turn left following signs for RAF Linton On Ouse. These signs will take you through the village of Newton On Ouse and we are on the left just before the village of Linton On Ouse.



To get to Linton Lock from the A1 you need to exit at the A59 turnoff (junction 47) and follow the signs towards York. After 1 or 2 miles you will find RAF Linton-on-Ouse sign posted on your left. Follow these signs.



Follow the B6265 to Great Ouseburn and turn right. Follow the signs to Aldwark Toll Bridge. After the bridge turn right and this road will take you around the airfield perimeter to Linton-on-Ouse Village.



Go straight through and exit the village and you will find Linton Lock on your right hand side. Just look for the sign!
