Caravan Park Details

This site is managed by the Club on behalf of the Racecourse. Youre pitched within sight of the main stand and with the famous turf before you, and only five minutes walk to the cobbled market town of Thirsk. The site is mid-way between the A1 and the A19, so its a natural overnight stopping point, but dont leave it at that. Youre also in Herriot country, between the lovely, rounded Yorkshire Dales and the more dramatic North York Moors, so make the most of both.

From North on A1 - turn off onto B6267 (Ainderby Quernhow, Thirsk); in 2 1/4 miles at t-junction turn left onto A61 (sp Thirsk). Site entered on left in 4 1/4 miles past racecourse buildings.



From South on A1 - leave via slip road abd turn right onto A61 (sp Thirsk). Site entered on left in 7 miles (just past racecourse buildings.)



From A19 - turn off at sp Thirsk Town Centre; follow signs for A61 Ripon. Site on Right in 1 1/4 miles, 500yds past mini rndabout.



Note: DO NOT approach on A170 via Sutton Bank.
