The beach, cliff walks and village of Charmouth are all close by. Should you decide to go go further afield, you will discover an area with interesting pubs, inns and good restaurants. Surrounding places of interest include West Bay, famous for its fishing; Lyme Regis with the Cobb Quay and fossil hunting and several lovely historic houses, notably Forde Abbey and Powderham Castle. The cathedral city of Exeter is within easy reach to the West, as is Abbotsbury Swannery to the East. This is Hardy Country, come and explore.
