Non-members welcome!Located along the River Ribble in a beautiful sheltered wooded setting. Two ancient hunting forests encompass Clitheroe, those of Pendle and Bowland. The charming ancient market town of Clitheroe is a 20 minute walk from the site. The Yorkshire Dales are a popular destination with site visitors

Clitheroe attractions and directions

From the A59 follow the A671 into Clitheroe. Look for the signpost Longridge & Sports Centre. Turn into Greenacre Road. Continue until theT junction at Edisford Road, turn left past the church on the right. Look for the Sports Centre on the right and car park opposite. The site access road is on the left approx. 50 metres past the car park entrance.
