The site is a green oasis screened from the surrounding countryside by trees, yet within a mile of the Mi; ideally situated to use as a base to explore London. Buses to Victoria pass the site, or take the train from Hemel, or the tube from Stanmore. Nearer to home the town offers a playground, paddling pool, bowling green and crazy golf. Within 2 miles theres a dry ski slope and a comprehensive leisure complex which boasts a waterworid of flumes and rides, an ice rink with a volcano, a cinema complex, ten pin and indoor bowling and two nightdubs. The historic old town centre holds a general market on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays as well as a craft market on Monday and antiques on Wedesday.

From N or S on M1 - leave at junc 8 onto A414 (sp Hemel Hempstead); at 2nd rndabt (abt 1m) turn and return on A414 towards M1; within 1 1/4m turn L immed past petrol stn into Buncefield Lane. Site on L in 100 yds.

From W on M1 from Aylesbury - turn L off dual cway via slip rd & rndabt onto A414 (sp Hemel Hemstead); in abt 1 1/4m at roundabout complex follow A414 (sp St Albans, M1/M10); in about 2m (about 1 1/4m past 3rd rndabt) turn L immed past filling stn into Buncefield Lane. Site ent on L in 100yds.

From M25 (London Orbital Motorway) - leave at junc 21 onto M1 (North); leave M1 atjunc 8 onto A414; then as from N or S on M1 thove.
