Tywyn attractions and directions

By Road:

Tywyn is on the A493 road from Machynlleth to Dolgellau. As an example, take the A458 from Shrewsbury through Welshpool, then turn south down the A470 and A489 to Machynlleth.

From Tywyn centre, follow the signs to the hospital. We are immediately on the left after the hospital If you are coming from Aberdovey, we are three miles past the golf course on the right hand side, just before the hospital.



By Rail:

The nearest mainline railway station is Tywyn, on the Cambrian Coast line, operated by Arriva Trains Wales (use National Rails Travel Information page to search for timetable information). The Cambrian Coast line connects at Machynlleth with services between Birmingham/Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth.
