From Derwen Mill you can explore the very heart of Wales ??? see the spectacular Llanrhaeadr Waterfall, sample watersports on Lake Bala (30 miles) or visit Snowdon (55 miles). Powis Castle and Offas Dyke are within easy reach and Welshpool, with its leisure centre, canal and light railway, is just 2?? miles away.
Take A490 north towards Llanfyllin for 2.5 miles turn right onto B4392, signposted Guilsfield for 1/2 mile. turn right after Derwen Garden Centre.
