Caravan Park Details

At Woodhouse Farm and Country Park every care has been taken to ensure that touring caravans are well catered for, with mainly level pitches, sixteen amp hook-ups and the choice of grass or hard standing.



Our camping area is spacious and well serviced by our new centraly heated toilets/shower block. There are three pot washing stations.



Each holiday home benefits from an individual, landscaped woodland setting, for maximum privacy.







Woodhouse has over fifteen acres devoted to woodland walks, a two and a half acre well stocked fishing lake and exercise meadows for horses and ponies for which we offer a livery service. Two acres of field are set aside for dog exercising

Ripon attractions and directions

5 miles west of Ripon, 12 miles north of Harrogate, and 8 miles east of Pateley Bridge makes us accessible from all directions and yet located in a beautiful, peaceful, rural setting.

Ripon, Britains smallest City, is famous for its Cathedral which contains a rare Saxon Crypt reputedly built for St Wilfrid in 627 AD. A place for retaining old customs the City Wakeman, known as The Hornblower sets the Watch in the Market Square each evening at 9 oclock. An event unbroken in over 1000 years.

A bustling market takes place each Thursday.

For racegoers Ripon Racecourse offers superb flat racing throughout the summer and is known as the Garden Racecourse.
Take the B6265 Fountains Abbey/Pately Bridge Road. After three and a half miles take the right turn at the Grantley signpost. At the first fork bear left to Grantley. Down through the village of Low Grantley to the T junction. Turn right towards Kirkby Malzeard. Take the next right to Winksley. We are the first farm down this road on the left
