Set on Scotland???s famous Ayrshire coastline, with dramatic views of the Isle of Arran, Craig Tara Holiday Park has fantastic holiday facilities for all ages. There???s non-stop Holiday Park action from dawn to dusk at Craig Tara!



The beach is great and the whole family will love the multi-level leisure pool with flumes and slides. Craig Tara also has a massive outdoor fun area with go-karts and adventure playground.



But save some energy for the evenings ??? when Craig Tara really gets going, with sensational entertainment on Park every single night of your holiday!



There???s a great choice of places to eat at Craig Tara and the Park also offers our superb value Half Board option, giving you a choice of holiday accommodation plus a hearty cooked breakfast and a delicious dinner every evening.

Ayr attractions and directions

The rolling hills and farmland of Ayrshire are best known for being the birthplace and home of poet, Robert Burns. Parts of the coast comprise attractive sandy beaches and low cliffs overlooking the mountainous island of Arran.



There are famous golf courses at Troon and Turnberry and it was at Prestwick Golf Club that the British Open was initiated in 1860.



Explore Burns National Heritage Park, Burns Cottage & Museum, Isle of Arran, Culzean Castle, Loudoun Castle Theme Park, Dunaskin Open Air Museum, Ayr Races, Soutar Johnnies Cottage and Alloway.




From the North Take the A77 towards Stranraer. Then 2nd right after Bankfield roundabout, south of Ayr. At Doonholm Road take a left, then right into Greenfield Avenue. Left at next junction and then follow Craig Tara signs.



From the South M74 exit at juntion 12 onto the A70 towards Cumnock. Follow signs for Ayr. Go south towards Stranraer. Then as above from Bankfield roundabaout.



The nearest train and bus station is in Ayr about 4 miles from the Park. There is an hourly bus service from the station to the Park.
