Hastings offers a host of activities with modern shopping and its Pier and elegant promenade where you can enjoy the views over the English Channel or take in the Old Town with its medieval streets and inns. Ancient Rye, no other town evokes an atmosphere of times past in medieval England more than this with its quaint cobbled streets and picturesque period buildings, which have remained, unchanged for years. Shopping is a delight with old fashioned specialist shops for antiques, books and crafts etc.
