Within 10/15 minutes drive are the western lakes of Loweswater, Buttermere and Crummock Water and Alfred Wainwrights favourite fell, Haystacks. This is an area of contrasts with beautiful beaches, high mountains, tranquil lakes and gentle valleys. The exciting visitor attractions along the spectacular Cumbria coast with its wildlife and sandy beaches are within easy travelling distance.
