Caravan Park Details

Cottage Farm Caravan Park is an small quiet family run park. Were located between Buxton and Bakewell in Darbyshire in tree-lined shelterd meadows looking onto the rolling hill lined landscape. Were an ideal base for exploring the Peak District National Park with several walks leading straight from the park. Were also on the new Pennine Bridleway plus the Monsal Trail and Limestone Way are both within easy access.

The majority of our caravan and motorhome pitches are level hardstanding with grass alongside, all have electricity supply. theres also a seperate level field for tents.

Buxton attractions and directions

Our main attraction is the countryside offering a wealth of excellent walks and picnic spots to chose from. Close by the towns of Bakewell - home of the famous Bakewell tart and Buxton offer something for everyone. Bakewell offers historic buildings and places of interest plus the Market Hall and a busy agricultural market on mondays. Buxton is a spa town: a perfect way to relax. Plus its opera house plays hoast to many genre of shows.

A little further afield, visit Matlock and Matlock Bath, Tideswell and Eyam or Castleton. Please visit our website for more information and links.
If you come via Buxton follow the signs for A6 Matlock & Derby. Once you have passed the junction with the A5270 on your right, you need to look for the next left turn. Its a country lane which is concealed by trees, and is about 200 metres before the junction with the B6049. Turn left into the country lane, and youll come to the Caravan Park on the left. If you miss the concealed turning off the A6, take the B6049 instead. Then take the first left, drive up through the village, and youll come to the Caravan Park on the right.

If you approach from Bakewell, follow the signs for A6 Buxton. After about 5 miles youll pass the Waterloo Hotel on the left. About one mile further on there are two right turns. First the B6049, and about 200 metres further the unclassified road you need to take. Drive down this lane and the Caravan Park is on the left.
